You only need to watch the Simpsons, or Family Guy, and wait for the English character, to see what the world thinks of British smiles:
We have rounded up, 6 of the worst smiles on UK TV, past and present.
Okay, so not a real person, however, he is supposed to look like a typical English person, and worthy of a place in our top 6 worst smiles.
One of the main presenters of Masterchef, Greg Wallace has terrible looking teeth. Over the years, they have got a little better, maybe after a little cleaning, and whitening, but when he smiles, all his bottom teeth look like tomb stones, and he could really do with some teeth straightening.
Although an excellent musician, Amy did not have the best teeth in the world. In this photo, you can see there are missing teeth, which can easily be replaced. It is important to have missing teeth replaced, as over time, the other teeth will move around, and cause other gum and possibly tooth wear problems in the future.
Pete Doherty was never renowned for personal hygiene, and good habits: and you can see the history of his lifestyle, by looking at his teeth!
Years of drug abuse, and not looking after his teeth have left them looking ugly and yellow. It is a shame they have got to this stage, but with the correct treatment, even Pete could have a brilliant smile!
Chris, a brilliant presenter, has a typical British smile! The teeth are uneven, and the gum line is not symmetrical, and this destroys the harmony in the smile!
And in our opinion, the worst teeth on TV are those of Jeremy Clarkson! Jeremy often took the mickey out of James Hammond for having his teeth whitened, in Top Gear… Just ask any girl who is more attractive!
In all the cases above, something can be done to improve the appearance. These days cosmetic improvements are available to everyone, and often treatment costs less than you think, and often there are several treatments available.
